ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

OUR PURPOSE

The Mill Road Traders Association (MRTA) exists to protect, celebrate, and champion one of Cambridge’s most diverse and independent-led streets.

Its mission is to give traders a strong collective voice, strengthen the local economy, and ensure Mill Road’s character is preserved as the area grows and changes.

Through collaboration, advocacy, and community-led initiatives, MRTA works to support its members, improve the street for residents and visitors, and keep Mill Road’s independent spirit at the centre of everything.
